Blogroll
Who We Are
The Beginning
100 Best Rap Songs was founded in Brooklyn, New York in June of 2008 by AZ. The blog quickly gained widespread appeal and now receives thousands of visitors every month. Due to the popularity of the website and the continued support of our community, we are now building a new streaming music platform that monitors popular music blogs and finds the hottest rap music as soon as it’s released online. This newly designed website is now in public beta and will be released to the public in early 2010.
Our Philosophy
We believe that music bloggers and music fans decide what’s hot – not radio, magazines or the mainstream media. Music bloggers are the new DJ’s. They are actively scouring the internet, going to local shows, and finding the best songs and artists of the moment, whether the artist is on a major label or slanging mixtapes out of the back of an Impala. Music bloggers and fans are the true tastemakers – they define “cool.” If you are reading this you are likely a blogger or a fan of hiphop and 100BestRapSongs.com is ready to listen to your opinion.
Do you define cool? Contact us and tell us why we should listen to your opinion on what music is NEXT. If you pass the test, we’ll make you a 100BestRapSongs.com ambassador.
