Charity is an important component of the socialist cause with Chinese characteristics, an important way to implement the third distribution and promote common prosperity, and an important symbol of social civilization and progress. For many years, the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government have attached great importance to the development of charity in Tianjin, leading the people of the city to deeply implement the important requirements of General Secretary Xi Jinping's "three focuses" on Tianjin work and the important instructions on charity work, actively exploring charity platforms, widely promoting charity culture, and vigorously strengthening service guidance. The city's charity industry has made significant progress. The vast number of caring enterprises, social organizations, and individuals in the city, with a sense of "the greater good of the country," work together with one heart, selflessly dedicate themselves, and make positive contributions in various fields of charity, especially in livelihood security, rural revitalization, poverty alleviation, emergency rescue, and assisting in epidemic prevention and control. In order to commend the advanced models in the field of charity in Tianjin, encourage and mobilize more social forces to support and participate in charity undertakings, and with the approval of the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, the first "Tianjin Charity Award" is hosted by the Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau. After self declaration, hierarchical recommendation, standardized review, selection and deliberation, solicitation of opinions, social publicity, and final approval, the Tianjin Civil Affairs Bureau has decided to award the first "Tianjin Charity Award" to 89 individuals, units, and projects, including Li Fanhui.

We hope that the units and individuals who receive recognition will cherish their honor, continue to strive for excellence, fully play their exemplary role, continue to dedicate their love, and practice good deeds. I hope that all sectors of society will take the winners of the first "Tianjin Charity Award" as an example, actively respond to the national call, engage in charity work, and jointly build "Charity Tianjin", making new and greater contributions to solidly promoting the "Ten Actions" of the Municipal Party Committee and Government, promoting the high-quality development of Tianjin's economy and society, and comprehensively building a socialist modern metropolis!
